What is “The Great American Clean-Up”?

For 21 years Keep America Beautiful has staged a nation wide, volunteer based, community improvement program. During this year’s 22nd Annual Great American Clean-Up affiliates, such as Keep Pinellas Beautiful, will rally together volunteers in our community, from March 1 through May 31, to clean up our parks, public areas and waterways. Nationwide, this program gathers over 2 million Americans to educational and litter-free events to help improve and preserve our country. Please join our countrywide clean-up and help us Keep Pinellas Beautiful.

Volunteer advance registration is not necessary for walkup sites. Groups consisting of 10 or more volunteers are encouraged to call the KPB office (533-0402) so that we will not have too many volunteers at one location.

We also look forward to assisting any volunteer group interested in doing a cleanup containing litter or debris that is not listed below.
