WHAT
IS THE PINELLAS LITTER HOTLINE?
The Pinellas Litter Hotline is a direct reporting phone connection for any Pinellas
Citizen to report any litter problems and or concerns they may have.
HOW
DOES IT WORK?
If a citizen observes litter in their community and would like to have
it removed, they should:
1.
Call
210-Gone (4663) This is a 24 hour reporting line so you
will either give the following to our staff or leave
a message with the following information:
2.
Identify
what type of litter you are reporting, such as a trash
bag,
household furniture, old tires, appliance, trash or litter along the
highway,
any road hazard, etc.
3.
Give
the location - Street address or closest cross roads
4.
Leave
your phone number (This is so we can contact you if we
need
more information)
KEEP
PINELLAS BEAUTIFUL WILL:

Complete
a Litter Tracking Form
*
Investigate
if necessary
*
Establish
a priority (1 though 4)
*
Take
necessary action to have the reported litter removed
as quickly as possible.

Inform
the reporting Citizen when action was completed.

ACTION PRIORITIES:
1.
Road
or Environmental Hazard (Action within 2-4 hrs or less)
2.
Illegal
Dumping (Action within 4-12 hrs or less)
3.
Major
Littered Area including Shopping Carts/Bulky items in
Storm
Drains.(Action within 48 hrs or less)
4.
General
littered area including businesses (As quickly as possible)
Action to remove the trash/litter is taken by Keep Pinellas Beautiful
Staff or coordination with the appropriate city or county department.
